Methods of teaching

New methods of teaching and evaluation including distance learning and formation of highly qualified teaching group (absorbing the contemporary European educational standards and teaching methods and materials), will result in the development of new methods of teaching and their usage in Russian partner Universities.
- Introduction of newly developed courses into the teaching process after their approbation.
-Introduction of newly developed methods of teaching including distance learning.

These two above mentioned activities will be conducted by 24 teachers and 24 assistants. That is: 8 new courses will be created and developed per year ( 24 in total) by 24 teaching staffs + 24 assistants.

To raise the level of teaching qualification 2 Professors of the International Economy Department visited 2 European Universities to study MSc/MBA curricula, programs and courses, teaching materials, teaching and evaluation methods, thesis writing and defending processes during each project year. Also one assistant from the BSUL Foreign Language Centre accompanied one of the Professors during his visit to EU country. All of them went for 2 weeks.

  1. Ms Oxana Chepinoga visited in March 2004 the University of Luton (UK) to study all the elements of studying process and to develop the new course European Business Law (Look the CV attached).
  2. Ms Svetlana Oglobina visited in March-April 2004 CEMI-EHESS L'Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (France) to study all the elements of studying process and to develop the new course International Marketing (Look the CV attached).
    The assistant who accompanied Ms Oxana Chepinoga to Luton was Mrs Albina Romanova, Associate Professor of the BSUEL Foreign Language Centre.
  3. Mrs Irina Kozyrskaya (International Economy Department) visited in January 2005 the Plymouth College of Further Education (UK) to study all the elements of studying process and to develop the new course European Business Environment (Look the CV attached).
  4. Mr Ilya Slobodnyak (Accounting Department) visited in January 2005 Abo Akademi University (France) to study all the elements of studying process and to develop the new course International Accounting Standards: The European Experience and The Russian Way (Look the CV attached).
    The assistant, who accompanied Mrs Irina Kozyrskaya to Plymouth, was Mr Yakov Ginzburg, Assistant of the International Economy Department (Look the CV attached).
  5. Natalya Prokop'eva (International Economy Department) visited in February 2006 the University of Luton (UK) to study all the elements of studying process and to develop the new course International Tourism.
  6. Maria Balashova (International Economy Department) visited in February 2006 the University of Luton (UK) to study all the elements of studying process and to develop the new course Strategic Management in International Environment.
    The assistant who accompanied them both to Luton was Mrs Albina Romanova, Associate Professor of the BSUEL Foreign Language Centre.
